HAZEMAG attended the CONEXPO-CON/AGG show in Las Vegas from March 3–7, 2026, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Once again, the event brought together professionals from across the aggregates, mining, and cement industries and provided an excellent opportunity for HAZEMAG to connect with customers, partners, and representatives from around the world. With over 140,000 attendees and over 2,000 exhibitors, we always look forward to this show.

We were pleased to welcome several of our international colleagues from Germany and South Africa. Having our colleagues on site allowed us to spend valuable time reconnecting with long-standing partners while also introducing new customers to the breadth of the HAZEMAG product portfolio.

Our booth featured several key technologies and solutions that generated strong interest from attendees. We were proud to showcase the HPI-H impact crusher, the CYBAS-i Cone Crusher, and the HAZoptic system, along with our Safety Liner Tool. The booth sparked a lot of good conversations throughout the week. Many visitors were seeing the Safety Liner Tool for the first time, which led to some great discussions about safety, maintenance, and how HAZEMAG equipment performs in real operations.

Throughout the week, we welcomed a steady flow of visitors representing a wide range of industries, including aggregates, sand and gravel, crushed stone, cement, and other mineral processing sectors. These discussions generated numerous leads and opportunities across multiple product lines, as well as several service and support inquiries.

The show also provided a valuable opportunity to spend time with many of our trusted representatives. Events like CONEXPO allow us to strengthen those relationships, exchange ideas from the field, and ensure we are aligned in supporting customers across North America. These conversations remain an important part of how we continue to grow our presence and improve service to the market.

Customer Interaction

As always, CONEXPO served as an important gathering point for the industry. The opportunity to meet face-to-face with customers, colleagues, and partners reinforces the strength and optimism of the markets we serve.

HAZEMAG had an excellent week in Las Vegas and appreciates everyone who took the time to visit our booth. We look forward to continuing the conversations started at the show and are already anticipating the next CONEXPO.

NSSGA Membership Advances HAZEMAG’s Ongoing Commitment to Industry Excellence

As a global partner delivering sustainable success to our customers in the raw material industry, HAZEMAG is proud to be a member and Silver Plus Partner of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA).

HAZEMAG and our fellow NSSGA members are stone, sand, and gravel producers and the equipment manufacturers and service providers who support them. We are collectively “responsible for the essential raw materials found in every home, building, road, bridge, and public works project in the United States.” We truly “produce the materials that build America!”

NSSGA members fall largely into three membership types:

  1. Producer Members: companies that produce and/or sell aggregates in the U.S., including internal and external consumption
  2. Industrial Sand Division Members: companies that mine, process, and sell industrial sand
  3. Manufacturers & Service Division Members: companies that make and sell equipment and/or provide services to the aggregates industry → This includes us at HAZEMAG!

Our Economic Impact

For every dollar of Aggregates sales, nearly $4 of sales is produced in other industries. NSSGA’s member companies provide jobs for over 100,000 employees and produce more than 90% of the crushed stone and 70% of the sand and gravel consumed annually in the United States. That’s why our friends at the NSSGA assert: “The aggregates industry is so much more than a quarry… When the aggregates industry is healthy, the economy is healthy.”

Stone Cold Facts

Aggregates are the literal “building blocks” that build towns and cities – as well as the roads that connect them! For this reason, the aggregates industry is synonymous with infrastructure, but it’s so much more than that; aggregates play a crucial role in everything we touch! Obviously, aggregates are utilized in the construction of roads, railways, bridges, tunnels, cisterns, sewers, electrical grids, and telecommunications equipment – but they are also used in televisions, phones, and other consumer electronics!

Consider this: the US has over 47,000 miles of interstate highways and that there are 38,000 tons of aggregates in every mile of highway, that’s over 1.78 billion tons of aggregates in the interstate system alone! Talk about being the FOUNDATION OF OUR NATION!

Advocacy

The NSSGA, headquartered in Alexandria, VA, strives to be the foremost advocate for the aggregates industry. The NSSGA calls itself “the aggregates industry’s strongest voice in the nation’s capital” because its members benefit from a professional, experienced staff who represent the industry’s interests in Washington. “NSSGA offers effective and meaningful opportunities to make aggregates producers’ voices stand out on Capitol Hill.”

The NSSGA’s mission is to “advance public policies that protect and expand the safe, environmentally responsible use of aggregates that are essential to America’s infrastructure, energy production, manufacturing, and economic prosperity.”

“Our partnership gives us that needed voice and advocate in Washington that furthers our position on key industry policies in a way that would be impossible without them.”

The NSSGA “represents the priority positions of our members and the aggregates industry through communications involving earned media, social media, and owned media.” Their communications staff “works with reporters covering our issues in Washington and in the industry trade media to give voice to our positions on priority issues.” And they manage their social media outlets to reinforce those positions as well. Finally, they offer “a robust member communications suite to keep our members informed and updated through newsletters, alerts and our bi-monthly magazine.”

“NSSGA keeps us informed of what is happening across our industry, such as trends, developments, technology, and concerns.”

In a recent survey, 75% of members agreed that NSSGA is “by far their primary source of industry information.” Print and online publications list and feature members, increasing members’ industry visibility; 80% of surveyed members rated NSSGA publications as “excellent or above average.”

Networking

NSSGA member companies spend $5 – 7 billion on products and services each year, and one out of three members have an annual sales volume of more than $20 million! That’s a lot of economic activity!

HAZEMAG was delighted to participate in the 2024 NSSGA Annual Convention and AGG1 (Aggregates Academy & Expo) in Nashville this past March. Trade shows such as these are yet another highlight of our NSSGA membership.

“We are able to network and communicate with like-minded individuals, offering us an excellent opportunity to gain connections with the very best our industry has to offer.”

Members get first access and reduced rates to trade shows and sponsorship opportunities for NSSGA premier events. To date, these events (which comprise workshops, seminars, conventions, and expos) have engaged over 450 companies plus their subsidiaries, drawn thousands of attendees/registrants, and featured representation from both large and small producers.

Networking, News, Advocacy… It’s clear why HAZEMAG is so pleased to contribute to – and benefit from – our participation in the NSSGA!
